Food Glorious Food

Beginning Sunday, March 16, the Women of St. James' Parish will host "Food Glorious Food" a series of three presentations relating to food. Whether you are interested in how "clean" food is grown and raised in the 21st century, food preparation for challenging diets or special events, delectable recipes or tips from an executive chef, this three part series will be of interest to you. Each presentation will be held in the Parish Hall on Sundays following the 11 o'clock service. Everyone is invited to attend!

Community Assistance Fund

In January the Community Assistance Fund assisted twelve families in the amount of $3,136. Most of the assistance was for electricity, fuel oil and propane due to the very cold weather. Assistance with rent and eviction prevention was also provided. Our funds are currently running low and any contribution from our Parish Family to help the needy in South County would be most welcome. The Community Assistance Team thanks you for your support.

Partners In Care

"Partners In Care (PIC) needs drivers in South County for its Ride Partners program. PIC provides rides for seniors to and from doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping and general errands.
